Industrial scales and balances
Calibration and verification
Our NMI-licensed technicians calibrate and verify weighbridges, scales, onboard weighing and product inspection equipment. This includes legal-for-trade work under NMI 6.1–6.3, 6.4 and 6.8, with certification for your records. Instrumentation calibration is NATA-traceable.
Onboard and vehicle weighing
Loader, forklift, bin and axle weighing for transport, waste and materials-handling operations. SRO is the national dealer for Loadsense and a VEI dealer covering NSW. We offer 24/7 breakdown and repair assistance for onboard weighing systems.
Product inspection
Metal detectors, X-ray inspection systems and checkweighers for food and packaging lines, with certified test pieces and routine verification.
Conveyor weighing and Ramsey products
Conveyor belt scales, weigh feeders, impact weighers and tramp-metal detection for bulk-handling, quarry and processing sites. SRO owns the Ramsey product line and supports installed Ramsey equipment, including older systems still badged Thermo Ramsey.
Process instrumentation
Level, flow, pressure and density measurement, with NATA-traceable instrumentation calibration.
How we service Sydney
SRO Technology supplies, installs, calibrates and repairs weighbridges, industrial scales and weighing systems for sites across Sydney and NSW. Sydney and greater NSW are serviced from our Newcastle branch at Beresfield. That means one NSW team handles your planned calibration, verification, repairs and new equipment.
SRO Technology does not have a Sydney office. Our NSW technicians work from the Newcastle branch at Unit 2/3 Kullara Close, Beresfield, and travel to Sydney sites for scheduled and reactive work:
- Calibration and legal-for-trade verification, scheduled with your site
- Repairs and fault-finding on weighbridges, scales and weighing systems
- Supply, installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Upgrades and shutdown work

Does SRO Technology have an office in Sydney?
No. Sydney and greater NSW are serviced from our Newcastle branch at Beresfield, and our technicians travel to Sydney sites. Our permanent locations are Brisbane, Emerald, Newcastle, Perth and Adelaide.

Do you service scales and weighbridges you didn't supply?
Yes, we work on mixed-brand equipment. Send us the make and model so we can confirm parts and support before we attend.
What should I send when I request service?
Your site address, the equipment type, make, model and capacity, and what you need (a fault, a calibration falling due, or new equipment). Also tell us about any site access or induction requirements.
